Do you daydream excessively, to the point that it interferes with your daily activities? And (although this is not essential) are your daydreams associated with repetitive movements and/or noises and talking to yourself? I want to connect with others who have this syndrome.

POCWSN = Parents of children with special needs I know many parents that are in need of support, even if it's just a shoulder to cry on. As a mom of a child with ASD and ADHD, I know the frustrations that arise on a daily basis. My goal is to find ways to support one another. I would like to establish play dates, coffee breaks, Parents night out and whatever any one else feels they need. I am not a doctor or therapist. I am just a mom looking for support and advice from other parents.

As a group we will try to organize this by age group and location. This is our group so …

As Fathers of special needs children, much of our time is spent busily supporting the family, going to or attentively finding out how doctor's appointments went, advocating for our kid(s), and simply doing our level headed best to keep it all above water. It's helpful to know we're not the only ones out there, to have a few peers to connect with, and perhaps learn from each other's experiences as we do everything we can to help our kids and family cope with their unique challenge(s). A local Me …
